My lord Dark One,
I would be honored for you to use my response(s) on the feedback page. I
apologize that I have not been online to read through and check the sites for the
past few days but work and moving into a new house has had my time tied up.
I also wanted to ask if it would be all right for me to promote the KING sites at
shows that my band plays. Tonight (Monday the 14th) we are opening for Mortitian
in Cleveland Ohio. I thought it might help if I were to create a King Diamond
sign up sheet as well as our Blood Coven mailing list in case anyone were
interested. I could then either forward on all addresses and names of whom are
interested to you, or simply send them the website address. As I am new to the
site I feel that I should as your advice in this before going any further.

Although I agree with what most have posted,
I must admit that I do not believe that a BTM spot on VH1 would do
the King any amount of justice. Perhaps they would start with good
intentions but the exec's and politics of any television
show would complain that it is simply too dark,
that it needs less documentary and more commentary by the VJ,
and the show would end up not doing King any kind of justice and
possibly giving the masses the WRONG impression of what King is
all about and why. IMO, Metal Blade(or similar) should release a
complete Documentary on King, written and produced by King himeself
so that is done absolutely the way he would want it, and then released
to the masses. If VH1 or MTV would want to air it,
they may work that out with Kings people.
Yes, King deserves more recognition.
Yes, the King deserves world wide acclaim.
WE, his loyal fans, have the ability to make this happen.
WE must purchase his releases, go to his shows, Spread the word.
It is obvious that Metal Blade has forsaken thier best and it will
be at their loss. That currently leaves it up to US to promote him!
Call you radio stations. Not just the college stations,
but ALL of them.
Buy an extra copy of your favorite KING CD,
print up a "press kit" and send it! E-mail them,
Tell all whom are interested to call and request a King song be played.
Go to all your local record vendors and request every obscure
king release there is, call everyone and request everything.
There is so much power we as fans hold in our hands that we
take for granted. USE IT!!!!
Don't expect others to handle it!
King deserves all that we have to give him.

THE reason why the King still has so many old
fans is described in one word:HONESTY! He never changed his style
and that´s what metal fans really appreciate. His style
is unique, you like it or not. But IF you like it,
there´s a love for the King and his companions that I
guess is FOREVER! Thanx for reading this and greetings

My favorite King song is one, that´s almost no one calls the best Diamond
song:BLACK HORSEMEN! This one song shows
it all, from calm to aggressive, and King sings more
rough than today (I miss that!).
One of the best songs in metal history.
No one can top this one!

King is the true master and ruler of dark metal.
All of these poser, hyped up, wannabe, supposedly devil metal bands like
Marilyn Manson, Mudvayne, Slipknot and plenty of others i'm forgetting
are nothing more than pretenders that are trying to appeal
to the younger metal generation. If they want a role model to learn from,
they should study the true King of Darkness; King Diamond. Besides,
if you listen to the vocals or music of these other bands,
if you have any sort of ear for musical talent, you can tell they hardly
have any talent music-wise. It sounds just like noise they're creating-
they have no rhythm or flow. King's musicians sound like musical prodigys.
King is smart-because he surrounds himself with such talent.
I'm sorry if I sound like I'm bagging on other bands.
I'm sure they're are a ton of people out there that like these bands.
And I mean no offense to them, but if you actually sat down and listened
to the both of them, you would notice a huge difference.
I'm just trying to open up some eyes and ears to King's music.
We need to promote King and Mercyful Fate more.

Hello Im a big King Diamond/Mercyful Fate fan.
I would like to say King is the greatest you cannot find any music
could get closer to horror. King Diamond is the KING of Horror Metal.
My favorite albums are VOODOO, Spider's lullabye, Graveyard,
Abigail 1&2, In THE SHADOWS, THE EYE.
Anyway I'm a big fan so what I would like to say to MCFARLANE TOYS.
They should create a KING DIAMOND superstage figure.
With the cross bones in and some bats and spiders.
I see Ozzy/Kiss/Cooper/Ac/Dc/metallica/Zombie/
wheres KingDiamond???
