Without King Diamond I may have never become a song writer.
He is the best and god of horror metal.
The first time that I heard Abigail I was instantly hooked.
It was his high octave voice, the story and amazing music that grabbed me.
I am working on a story witch the idea came to me from
the Mercyful Fate song called "The Bell Witch". The history Of John Bell
and the "Bell Witch" haunting is truly a fascinating one.
It's something that I'm really proud of but is nothing compared to
what King Diamond can do. He is amazing.

My favorite King album is Abigail.
It was released when I first saw King Diamond live,
and I love the story of Abigail, Miriam, and Jonathan.
The 7th Day of July, 1777 is an unbelievable song, and still my favorite!
The guitar effects in the song are incredible, especially the way the riff
plays over the rhythm guitar, and slowly fades out.
My favorite Mercyful fate Album is the import, "From the Depths of Hell."
The cover alone scared the crap out of me, and the true recordings were awesome.
That album alone nearly got me thrown out of junior high and home!
My favorite Mercyful fate song is Satan's Fall.
I like the longer songs that change tempo often, and this one is the best.
The first time I listened I thought it was five different songs recorded successively.

I haven't had a chance to read all your stories. What brought my interest in the
first place is my husband. He is fasinated with the KING, he has told
me of some of the storys behind his music so I wanted to find out as
much about the KING as I could. I enjoy the little bit my husband has

it brought tears to my eyes!
